From horror director Ti West came The Innkeepers about a young asthmatic employee, Claire, of a hotel during its final weekend before closing for good. The once grand hotel is now virtually empty, and Claire is taking her chance to collect paranormal recordings of the rooms for the hotel’s hauntings website. A medium is staying in the hotel on the final night and warns Claire to not go near the basement, the location where a suicidal bride’s body was once hidden by management in the 1800s. When another guest checks in and Claire and her coworker experience haunting noises in the basement they rush to gather the occupants of the building and leave only to find the latest guest already dead in a bathtub.
