The Descent is a British horror film following six friends as they embark on a deep caving expedition that goes terribly awry. They have arrived together in North Carolina for a spelunking adventure a year after Sarah’s husband and daughter perished in a car accident. With some of their relationships already on the ropes for not being there for Sarah, their friendships face a new challenge as a rock collapse traps them underground. When the leader of the group explains that she’s brought them into unexplored parts of the cave system they find themselves pursued by blood-thirsty creatures and their friendships further deteriorate as they desperately struggle to survive in the unfamiliar terrain.

This, and the silence from the officials and ministers, leads a journalist, Natasha to begin an investigation into a government cover-up.

Bottom Feeder (2007)

A group of utility workers are trapped in a series of tunnels which, unfortunately, contain a scientist mutated by his own creation. The creature feeds instantly on a rat, becoming what it has eaten.
