The Blackcoat’s Daughter showcases two timelines that revolve around a prestigious Catholic boarding school isolated in the winter. Two teen girls are staying over during the winter break and the older one, Rose, tells the younger, Kat, a story about the nuns at the school being Satanists. The next day Kat begins to behave strangely, is unable to pray, and insisting her parents must be dead. After a phone call she kills the nun chaperones and Rose, decapitating them all. Running parallel, and 9 years after this, is the story of Joan, a woman who has escaped a mental asylum. She is given a lift by the parents of Rose to the old school, now boarded up, where she murders and decapitates them, revealing herself to be a grown up Kat.
