A sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 original slasher classic, Halloween, comes Halloween, this time directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Blumhouse. Jaime Lee Curtis returns once more to her iconic role for a final confrontation with the boogey man as the film follows directly after the first Halloween, ignoring the other sequels. Laurie Strode survived that Halloween night when her friends did not and the Shape was put away in an asylum, but Laurie has been waiting patiently for the day he returns to get her revenge. When he finally does she has a family to protect and her unwavering strength begins to crack as the new killing spree begins 40 years later.
