A sequel to the 1990s cult classic found footage film The Blair Witch Project, Blair Witch, directed by Adam Wingard, takes place 10 years after the first. Originally kept secret and titled The Woods the film was revealed to be Blair Witch a month before its release. The film follows James Donahue, brother to Heather Donahue, as he convinces his friends to go looking for her in the woods, having found additional footage of her online and believing her to still be alive. The group regretfully travels to Burkittsville, Maryland in search of answers but they find more than they bargained for as the witch of the woods makes herself known.

Skinwalker Ranch (2013)

In 2010 “Skinwalker Ranch” gained media attention after experiencing a wide range of unexplained phenomena. Reports ranged from UFO sightings to livestock mutilation, but maybe most notable was the disappearance of ranch owner Hoyt Miller’s eight-year-old son Cody on November 11, 2010. Close to a year later, Modern Defense Enterprises has sent a team of experts to document and investigate the mysterious occurrences, which only escalate upon their arrival.

The Last Broadcast (1998)

Bristling with equipment, two enthusiastic local access cable TV producers recruit an assistant and venture into a forest in search of the mythical and horrifying Jersey Devil. Days later, only one of the trio emerges. He becomes the prime suspect in the disappearances of the other two. However, a local filmmaker examines extensive footage found at the scene and arrives at a different conclusion.
